Rockgeist [rock-guy-st] specializes in creating custom bikepacking gear designed to tame unruly singletrack and to fly on smooth tarmac. Built to meet your specific needs, exact bike, and bikepacking style, Rockgeist will help you thrive in the backcountry with stable, lightweight, and custom gear.

The Fiber Flight series are custom framebags built with the toughest, lightest fabrics available – emphasis on maximizing durability while minimizing weight. Lead times are the same at the Mudlust Series.

LiteSkin is about 20% less weight then its traditional  X-Pac counterpart with the added benefit of higher abrasion resistance. LiteSkin is considered to be an ideal balance of durability, weight, and price.

Dyneema 40 is one of the most durable pack fabrics used for the most demanding backcountry environments. Affords durability that compares to Cordura Ballistic Nylon at 57% less weight. Now available in both white and silver.

Cuben Fiber is a feather-weight hybrid fabric with a durable build meant to withstand hard mountain miles.

The Landmark Project™ patches represent some of our country's greatest natural areas. Please consider visiting these websites to learn about how they are making an impact - National Forest Foundation / National Park Foundation.

Patches can be sewn onto your custom bikepacking gear. Simply specify at checkout. If you have other patches you would like sewn onto your gear please mail them to Rockgeist, 2000 Riverside Dr., Unit 33, Asheville, NC 28804. (Please include your order number).

Goodbye camelbak – Hello Mudlust. This framebag is tough, functional, and looks badass. Rockgeist was great in guiding me through the custom options and the whole process was fast and friendly.

Mudlust Fully, 9.7.17

It’s obvious that Rockgeist is a company that cares about the construction quality and trail-worthiness of their products.

Mudlust Triangular, 8.27.17

This custom bikepacking gear goes deeper than picking a color and taking a photo. Everything is meticulously designed and sewn to provide the best user experience.

Mudlust Half, 2.22.18

Choice of fabric/color is an absolutely amazing attribute to this brand. No other top bp bag maker offers this.

Honeypot, 2.10.18

Tried a couple other seat bags that were supposed to be dropper compatible, but the Gondola actually let me use 98% of my dropper fully packed. Its super light weight and the connection system was flawless.

Gondola, 2.12.18

My bottom line is quality and deign for purpose not flash. My Rockgeist Honeypot has lived up to both my guiding principles for gear.

Honeypot, 12.13.17

When will my gear ship?

Please see the lead time posted on the homepage to get an idea of when your gear will ship. Lead times are an estimate, however, some serious effort goes into keeping those estimated times accurate.

Do you have a photofit template of my bike already?

Please send your photofit picture even if you’re certain Rockgeist has that template already. Reason being is that two “identical” bikes from the same brand, model, size, and year can have dramatically different cable routing, one with a front derailleur, mud guard, and most likely a different brand of rear shock. Framebags are built to be optimized to your exact bike, down to the smallest of details which are all captured in your photofit picture.

Can you make a framebag from a spec drawing?

While there are many ways to make a framebag, making them from a spec drawings is not our method. Rockgeist only uses our Photofit method. This creates the most efficient process on our end and helps keep lead times as low as possible.
