Ultra-PE Custom Framebag
$240.00
Framebags built from advanced polymer fabrics using Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). This unique polymer creates ultralight fabrics with unparalleled strength and durability.
Fabric swatches are shown below followed by pictures and descriptions of all framebag features. For multicolor framebags please select "Multicolor" in the fabric dropdown selection above which will display the text field to specify colors.
PhotoFit Instructions
While we have thousands of templates ready, we may need a Photofit image of your bike to ensure a perfect fit. Please take your Photofit image following these instructions.
Photo should be 10-12ft away, level with the frame, bolts exposed, with both wheels visible. If you only have the frame, get low enough to be level with the triangle and back up 10-12 ft away. **Include water bottle(s) for half framebags & wedges.** This helps us bring the bag about 1/2″ from your bottles. See example Photofit images here.

Differences Between Ultra-PE Fabrics
Choose Dyneema if...
you’re looking for the absolute lightest fabric (the 2.92 variety).
This 2.92 ultralight weight does come at the expense of abrasion resistance. We only recommend the 2.92 if you understand the limitation of this fabric and take care of your gear. If you like the look of dyneema but want a more “set it and forget it” framebag then pick the slightly heavier 5.0 variant.
- Fabric Made in USA

Dyneema® Composite Fabrics (DCF)
A shiny non-woven composite laminate which is reinforced with Dyneema® fibers mated to a matte polyester backing.
Core Benefits:
- Lightest option for sewn bags
- Dyneema won’t absorb water in rain
- Unique, flashy patena
Choose Ultra-200/400 if...
you’re looking for the best balance between ultralight and high abrasion resistance.
The lighter 200 variant is more abrasion resistant than the 2.92 Dyneema but still considered “ultralight”. The 400 variant adds significantly better abrasion resistance. In our opinion this 400 variant is one of the most durable yet ultralight pack fabrics available.
- Fabric Made in Asia
- PFAS-free finish

Ecopak® Ultra-200/400
A mix of woven Ultra-PE and Polyester, laminated to a polyester film.
Core Benefits:
- Highest abrasion resistance in its weight class
- Exceptional stitch retention and overall durability
- Available in white, black, grey, navy
Choose Ultra VX-40 if...
you value durability over ultralight. While the heaviest of our Ultra-PE fabrics it has maybe the best abrasion and cut resistance of the group.
- Fabric Made in Germany and USA
- PFAS-free finish

Xpac® Ultra VX-40
Similar to Ecopak’s Ultra-400 this is a mix of a shiny woven Ultra-PE and Polyester laminated to a polyester film. Perhaps the first available fabric to incorporate ultra-PE into its base weave.
Core Benefits:
- High abrasion resistance
- Exceptional stitch retention and overall durability

A stiff plastic base of the framebag is bolted to your frames water bottle bolts. We can bolt your down tube, top tube, or seat tube all from your photofit image. The bolt holes are slotted to allow for a perfect fit and are gaurenteed to match up to your bolt patt
erns. Bolts and washers are included in your order.
PRO: Eliminates velcro straps that interfere with water bottle bolts on the underside of your downtube. Also creates a clean look and solid anchor.
CON: Takes more time to take the framebag on and off the bike.
The map pocket is positioned on the non-drive side and is a full length pocket with no depth. Perfect for small, flat objects such as maps. Internal sleeves exist inside the map pocket for framebags with enough space. A channel also exists to connect the map pocket to the drive side to allow electronic cords to pass through.
The horizontal divider has a zipper entry positioned on the drive-side. There is a removable velcro divider that creates a horizontal partition when in place. When opened up, you have full access to the entire bag from the top zipper entry.
Lace-up connection to your top-tube. Standard cord color is black.
PRO: Creates a solid, distributed frame connection. Less abrasive to your frame’s paint than velcro.
CON: More time consuming to install/remove framebag compared to velcro.
Make the most of your packing space with a flared front end. The flared nose is built 4.75″ wide at its peak with a variable 1″ velcro connection on top, a hydration port at the point, and a 2″ one-wrap velcro connection connecting to your down tube.
Hang loops consist of a “sleeve” with a daisy chain under your top tube. A pump can live behind the sleeve leaving One-wrap velcro straps to wrap other objects such as tent poles. The Velcro straps are removable to free up space when not in use. This arrangement helps prevent clutter from building up at the bottom of your bag.
A durable hypalon flap covers your zipper to deflect rain and snow from entering through your zipper teeth. If selected, we will cover all zippers on the bag.
A discrete pocket sewn to the inside spine of your framebag. Meant to contain your Apple Air Tag or similar GPS tracking chips. Used to help find your bike in case of theft while out bikepacking.
This pocket is made from stretch mesh woven with Ultra-PE fibers. This creates one of the most durable mesh fabrics on the market. Default position is on the non-drive side panel, in the front half of the bag closest to the stem area.
Typically this pocket is used to carry trash and other small items.

Excellent fit and build quality, Thanks you all for keeping your promise to all of us who ordered a custom bag right before Hurricane Helene hit! Would have been totally understandable if you were unable to produce. But you came thru and it has made for a great summer bikepacking so far. Purchase a custom bag from these folks you will not regret it. Thanks again, Jim

I ordered a custom full suspension top bag for my Ibis Ripley. The fit is perfect and the quality is top notch. Great company producing great products!!
Asher (verified owner) –
Great frame bag! Perfect fit including requested narrower width than listed to avoid knee rub, durable zippers, lightweight, and secure attachment with bolts and lace up top tube.

Great Company to work with! Ordered a custom split bag a couple days prior to their shop being flooded by Hurricane Helene. When I saw the shop was in a basement on the banks of the river I said to myself “oh crap hope everyone is safe, probably going to have to look for another company”. Within a couple weeks was notified they couldn’t say when their custom bags queue would be finished but promised they would be finished at some point in time. Received the bags a couple weeks ago and took them on week trip in the Arizona. Don’t wear a backpack so stuffed them to the gills, everything worked as intended, the bags fit perfectly and didn’t move at all, never had to adjusted the bags, not once. Thanks Greg and everyone at Rockgeist for the communication and the dedication to customer service and delivering the highest quality product under probably the most trying time in your businesses history!

After discovering the bikepacking scene during the covid pandemic, I contacted rockgeist about getting a custom frame bag.
Throughout the order process I changed my mind about the design various times and asked lots of annoying questions. The Rockgeist team were always fast and helpful.
When it arrived to the UK, it exceeded my expectations. The fabric (RX-36) looks and feels great and the craftsmanship is brilliant too. They even fitted a surreptitious air tag holder!
Roli (verified owner) –
Got a half frame bag for m Crust evasion (medium) in truffle brown cotton duck fabric and i have to say that i am very satisfied with the fit. The people at rockgeist nailed it and the curved bottom makes it look extra cool ( for me ). The customer service is top notch. i have to admit i probably sent way to many emails… changing my mind and stuff and these guys were quick to respond and very nice, Thanks guys

Thoroughly tested over the last 1,500 miles and ready for more. Rockgeist may have the most accurate and easiest way to order a custom half framebag with their PhotoFit process. I chose their X-Pac RX Cayenne. I love that it is better for the environment and how well it matches the red on my Lauf Seigla. The quality of the construction and attention to detail is terrific. Rockgeist is one of the best around. 11 out of 10, will buy again.
John (verified owner) –
I couldn’t be happier with my frame bag. Greg was super responsive, friendly, and accommodating when helping me work through some custom additions. He provided great advice and his insights into the construction process helped inform the final product for the better.
The bag itself is absolutely dialed. From the thoughtful creation of the features I requested to the thorough finishing details, the quality shows. The fit to my frame is dead-accurate and provides a benefit that can’t be found from an off-the-shelf product anywhere. I literally don’t think the bag could have fit my bike any better if they had it at the shop to measure from.
If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate.

Got a custom sewn bag in advance of a multi-week Bikepacking trip – couldn’t say enough positive things about the bag. I love the direct mount (very secure) and the fabric (durable). Yes it may not be marketed as waterproof, but I got rained on for 12hrs straight and the contents within the bag stayed dry. Rockgeist rocks!
Joben David –
Bought a dyneema framebag on sale. I’m up in Canada and had to pay extra duties but still appreciate having a handmade product from NC. Will update once I’ve put some miles on the bag.
Tina –
I have several custom for frame bags full and half. The quality of these bags is superb!
I actually changed all my bikes to Rockgeist custom frame bags. Well worth every penny. I especially like the lace up option. The fit is perfect.
They even customized a portion of my bag to accommodate some cable routing on my Mukluk that I discovered (after submitting my photofit) , that would interfere with a nice tight fit. It’s perfect
Also being able to see where you are in the process by checking the order number status is such a great tool.
I need another bike now so I can order a bag for it

Every product Rockgeist makes is fantastic, but the frame bags are exceptional! Every detail is well thought out. The zippers are the best in the industry! Bomb proof.
Jasmine (verified owner) –
Love the bag, the construction, and all the helpful feedback & coordination I got from the team. My only constructive commententary is the following— I wish the interior fabric was a brighter/lighter color, which creates contrast and makes it easier to find items (mine is a dark blue). Perhaps that will become standard in the future. I also wonder if it would be possible to have grommets on at least one of the sides when we do a double bolt on— I understand the wider openings allows for a good fit no matter what.
This thing is sturdy, fashionable, and is doing all the things I wanted it to on the trail! Thanks Greg & the whole team.

If you need to get the most storage from your framebag and/or want a fully customizable USA made bag, Rockgeist is definitely worth the wait. They’re super helpful if you have questions during the photofit and with any questions you may have about the many options they offer. The divider and internal pocket options let you keep snacks, tools, maps, or electronics exactly where you can find them. The many fabric options let you get exactly the look you want and the glitter zippers will give you extra smiles for miles and miles.

Just got my bag. The ordering process was smooth and simple, turnaround was faster than anticipated, and the bag itself is just awesome. The construction feels so solid and having a custom fit bag is such an incredible upgrade from awkwardly strapping a dry bag into the triangle. For day riding it’s already been fantastic, shifting the load of extra layers, snacks, etc. lower and into the middle of the bike rather than up on the bars or high up behind the saddle. But what I’m really eager for is putting this bag through its paces on some camping trips!!!
Mike (verified owner) –
Perfect fit for my All City Cosmic Stallion. Precise sewing and excellent materials. This bag never leaves my bike
Larry T (verified owner) –
Just got my Custom Frame Bag, delivered ahead of schedule (a little) very well made and fits perfectly using after using the Photofit process. I could not be happier with my purchase.
Jim –
I’ve had this bag since 2019 and it’s still going strong. It’s beautifully made, fits my bike perfectly and has put up with lugging heavy supplies over rough terrain with zero issues. I like everything about it. 100% recommended, when I eventually change frames I’ll definitely buy another one.

Purchased the custom half frame bag for my 2021 Specialized Diverge Comp (size 61) after trying several universal bags. I can’t stress this enough, the fit is perfect in every way. No gaps. Finish is also superb with precise stitching and heavy duty zippers. Highly recommend.

I ordered a custom wedge bag from rockgeist and was told that it would be 10-12 weeks before I got it. Two weeks before riding the Vermont Super 8 I emailed rockgeist to see if they could send it earlier. Rockgeist was very accommodating and they sent me the bag earlier than expected. It performed perfectly for my ride and held way more than I thought it would. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better product and was so greatful to work with an amazing company. I really don’t do reviews of products but I felt obligated to do a review with this bag because I’m that happy with it.

I ordered a custom bag and Rockgeist just made it happen! The bag is awesome and fits my bike perfectly. I’ve only used on a single five day bikepacking trip in Baxter State Park in Maine but the bag was up to the task for sure!
skylardewitte (verified owner) –
This bag has nice materials and excellent craftsmanship. The fit is perfect – it’s just found a permanent home on my Santa Cruz Chameleon. Note, I got 2′ of 3″ helicopter tape and it was just barely enough – I’d order 3′ if doing it again. Overall I’m stoked, this bag is perfect.
Luke –
I’ve had my custom wedge framebag for around a year now and am liking it very much.
I already had a custom frame bag from a manufacturer here in the UK made for my other bike. It does the job well enough but the attention to detail and build quality of the Rockgeist bag are a step beyond.
Like my other Rockgeist bags the wedge has a structure and rigidity lacking in others. The bag holds it shape well and the chunky zippers never feel like they are going to pop.
The attachment to the bike is super neat – I opted for lacing on the top and bolt on for the down tube minimising the amount of straps and giving a clean look.
The Photofit method is way easier than providing a cardboard template and the resulting bag is millimetre perfect.
I love the fact that I can use a bottle as well as a framebag. The gap on the top tube also gives me a useful hand hold for the inevitable hike-a-bike sections over tussock strewn moorland that characterises a lot of my bikepacking.
My only disappointment with the bag is that the external mesh spine pocket isn’t of much practical use. The mesh is too tight at the top to get much in and even if I could manage it easier there isn’t enough room left with a decent sized bottle mounted on the seat tube.
I’m already looking forward to ordering my next bag.

when you want the absolute best in design and materials there aint anyone doing it like Rockgeist rn.. i have a dyneema custom half frame bag, custom top tube bag dyneema and a dyneema saddle bag and i swer these bags made to higher standard than Luis V .. im absolutely in love with Gregs genius craftsmanship everything so eloquent and high quality. As for durability they look it but yet to be tested..iv heard the frame and saddle bags are nearly 100% waterproof , will need to test but i dont see any obvious issues.. but 10 stars for makin my bikepacking bike look like a rolls royce

For me, this wedge version of a custom-made framebag is the perfect solution. I do like carrying a water bladder in my frame bag, but I wouldn’t wanna miss having access to an extra bottle , which is possible as the bag leaves space for a bottle cage. My frame is quite large so I can afford losing a little packing space. The bag itself is a perfect fit: the nose snuggles against the back of the steerer tube as if it came with the frame. No worries with the bolt-on holes, either. Honestly when ordering I wasn’t sure how this could be done just through the Rockgeist photofit method, but apparently it can – the precision is quite impressive.
I also went with the multicolor option which imho is well worth it. Zippers open and close easily, seams are first-rate. All in all, this product is exactly what I wanted.

Just got my second custom bag from Greg. My first bag was for my 2019 Salsa Cutthroat, which fits and functions amazingly. The newest one is for my 2018 Cannondale Scalpel SE and once again a perfect fit. I can not recommend Rockgeist enough.

I just finished the great divide mountain bike route yesterday. I rode 2500 miles from border to border and my custom full suspension frame bag worked flawlessly! It was solid, spacious, and consistently reliable! With reliability being a number one sought out quality for a ride of this magnitude, Rockgeist really fulfills that need. I would not hesitate to purchase another full suspension mountain bike frame bag from Greg again. The process was simple and flawless! I love being able to get out, ride, and take in the riding experience without thinking about my gear—my frame bag, honey pots and space link provided that confidence the entire route! Tough materials, great zippers, and the colors available were awesome! Thanks, Greg, for making a reliable, solid product!

Perfect fit. Beautiful craftsmanship. Great communication when ordering. Very pleased with this frame bag. I already have a few Rockgeist bags and I will definitely order more.

I purchased the half framebag for my Trek Domaine SL5 that takes me on all kinds of riding surfaces. The bag is fantastic! Rugged and exceptional well constructed I included the tent pole loops and map pocket. I had forgotten what it felt like to not have all of my jersey back pockets filled with food, phone, gloves, gels and powders and an extra water bottle on my long rides! Everything fits nicely in the bag. Looks great and I am stoked!
Amy –
Super pleased with this bag. It fit perfectly on my bike and provided that extra bit of space I was needing to get all of my gear packed. The custom fit means you get every inch of useable space in the frame, and even when it’s packed tightly it’s streamlined for your particular bike’s geometry so it’s like its not even there.
Logan Watts –
Greg and team have made MANY custom frame bags for test bikes (and our own personal bikes) and they always fit beautifully; we’ve never had an issue with seam or zipper failure (one of which has multiple thousands of miles over 3-4 years)…

I bought a custom Mudlust frame bag for my Karate Monkey about a year ago and I fill it up almost daily — it looks and functions perfectly! I’ve taken a spill or two and the bag is unscathed. The seams and zippers are bombproof and the XPAC is incredibly tough. The Mudlust has become a permanent fixture on my bike and I couldn’t imagine cycling without it.
Mike Shoys (verified owner) –
Great quality and fits perfectly. The frame triangle on my Kona Process is pretty wonky, but the bag fits great and I couldn’t be happier. Stitching is flawless, materials used seem super durable. Found out about RG on the Bikes or Death Podcast and am stoked to be supporting a guy/company who supports the bikepacking community.

I just picked up my custom Mudlust Full Suspension bag from Greg over at Rockgeist. I am blown away at the quality and attention to detail of this bag. I went with LiteSkin 21 from his Fiber Flight series and this thing is light af! If you are looking for custom work or have an interest in ultralight bags made in the USA there isn’t really anyone else who can step to this quality and design. Thanks Rockgeist!

I tested this bag on a grueling seven-day bikepacking trip in the desert and mountains of New Mexico in rain, snow, hail, and mud, and it far exceeded my expectations. Having a custom fit makes all the difference-far superior to off-the-rack options. The quality is also really over the top. I included tent pole loops, map pocket, and the lace-up options which further enhanced the functionality for me. It looks awesome too-I dont want to take it off! Customer service and response from Greg also excellent.

I ordered a full set of custom bags for a Santa Cruz Hightower, including the Mudlust Custom for full suspension. Each bag is incredibly well made and fits perfectly. The functionality of the material and design is incredible. Greg is very helpful in the selection process as well as “tweaking” the set-up. I did a lot of research before ordering. After receiving the bags, I cannot imagine a better custom set-up on the market. You will not be disappointed.

I was amazed at how well my frame bag fit the triangle of my Giant XTC. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful design, fit & finish!
My first bikepacking experience (Arizona Trail) was elevated by the versatility of the frame bag. All my tools fit in the lower triangle compartment and the main compartment was extremely versatile for experimenting with packing different types of gear (my overall water carrying capacity was not sufficient for the trail but the main compartment handled a 2.5L plastic water container with no trouble). I am AMAZED at how much gear my Mudlust can carry!
Thank you so much for advancing the science and art of Bikepacking!

I have a small, weirdly-shaped space on my Stache, with a steeply tilting top tube and curved seat tube that no “off the shelf” bag could fit. So after reading the reviews, the options, and the looks I decided to give Rockgesit a try. Glad I did! The fit on the frame bag is perfect. He nailed it. He made a small change to lift the bottom a little to account for a cable exit at the bottom of the downtube, and it fit to a T – no stress on the cable at all. I really like the lace system on the top tube, it cinches up nice and tight. The holes for the bottle cage bolts are incredibly well aligned with the frame and (with the laces on the top tube) hold the bag tightly. I don’t know how he can do it from a photo, but it is impressive how well the bag fits. I don’t think it could be better if it was measured in person. Workmanship and quality are fantastic. Love it! Thank you!
henley –
my wife and i each have custom framebags, and they’re awesome. we just rode 600 miles across spain, and we stuffed those bags full to the brim every time we left a town and never had any issues with zippers or any kind of seam tears. on my size large surly troll i carried a 2L pot with MSR whisperlite stove nested inside, spare tube, small repair kit, several pieces of fruit, blocks of cheese, nuts and snacks for the day, a small wool beanie and coffee – and that’s just in the main compartment. the map pocket held a lot of smaller flat items too. the point is that the frame bags are cavernous and hold up extremely well when packed to the lid. the photo fit option is super handy, and it’s really cool to see just how dang snug it fits from a simple photo. along with all of this, greg is a super nice guy and treated us very well with the bags we ordered and is a great person to have in the bikepacking community. thanks so much man!
Tom –
Greg made me a custom frame bag for my bike that has a curved top tube and it fits like a glove. AND he did it from just a picture! His craftsmanship is as good as it gets. And he does it from a picture.
Nate (verified owner) –
Cannot recommend these bags enough. Greg is always very receptive to feedback on how the bag will be used and how that’ll shape its construction. These custom bags go deeper than picking a color and tracing an outline. Everything is meticulously designed and sewn to provide the best user experience. I have two of these Mudlust bags on mountain bikes that are filling the front 10″ or so of the front triangles. Perfect size for carrying all the tools you’d normally keep in a Camelback.
Eric Wever –
The mudlust framebag has become one of my favorite pieces of gear! The large YKK zipper is very easy to open and close while on the bike and my gear stays dry even during heavy downpours and quick dunks underwater during river crossings. The materials and construction seem to be of the highest quality possible. The photofit instructions were easy to follow and the bag fits my custom steel frame perfectly. The bolt-on option is really nice also and provides a very clean look.

I recently switched frames, and my Apidura bags didn’t fit quite right on my new hardtail. I ordered custom Mudlust, Medic top tube (saddle side), and Cache top tube bags from Greg. I had been through a few other shops that either never returned my email, or kept my templates for months without ever looking at them. I’m so glad they didn’t work out, because the process and results with Greg and Rockgeist have been even better than advertised. I can’t believe how easy the template photo process was, and how well it worked. My framebag just cannot fit any better. It’s perfect, and even more sturdy and durable than I expected. I hoped they would be as well made as the Apidura frame bag, but the Rockgeist quality blows the Apidura out of the water. The zippers, padding, and fit & finish is the best I’ve seen. I will absolutely be ordering the Foxglove saddlebag and Barjam harness now that I know how great this stuff is.
Jon (verified owner) –
All of the off the shelf framebags didn’t seem to be a great fit for either by crossbike or my mtb. When I found Rockgeist and the easy way you can order custom fit bags for your bike I went for it. I couldn’t be more pleased. They are a perfect fit and are heavy duty (yet light) construction. They fit all of my tools, spares, water filter kit, extra water, and most importantly, my flask. There is room to spare….and with the extra zipper on the other side, I can fit my phone, maps, pen, etc. They look great and complement my bikes.
The other very cool part about this is the experience of working with Greg and buying a very high quality product from a small business. I sent in some photos of my bikes, Greg gave some feedback on what would work and what wouldn’t and we came to a decision together. It’s nice knowing I had a hand in this too!
Last, you would think custom anything made in America would be pricey. I thought the cost was very reasonable and not a lot more than an off the shelf product.

I have been looking for a custom frame bag for my Salsa Mukluk. It has unique curvy geometry. I had a hard time pinning down other custom guys. Greg responds promptly and finished the bag on time. The bag fits like a glove! Quality of the bag is outstanding.
Holt harlan –
I’m very happy with the full experience. I sent a email to Greg not knowing he was on the AZ trail, but with in 2 days he responded to me with a explanation that he was out of reach. After a quick chat he was back to riding. True to his word he contacted me immediately when he was back in the office. To my surprise he had a template in house. We worked out some details and he shipped it faster than I thought possible.
The frame bag got a serious beating on the CTR in July. Relentless rain, lots of mud and over stuffed. The zippers worked as they should, the stitching held together flawlessly, the straps held tight and never needed readjusting. top shelf quality!
I also had a couple of other small bags made that completed a full custom set. I could not be happier with Greg and his business.

Being new to bike-packing, I needed a frame bag for my bike’s rather odd-shaped frame. No major manufacturer produced an item that fit my needs. I found Rockgeist on the web, communicated directly with Greg, (the owner) about what I needed, sent in a template, and couldn’t be happier with the product I received.
The frame bag was produced exactly to the specs I provided, is made of high-quality, abrasion-resistant materials, and fits my bike like a glove. The waterproof zipper is indispensable, and it’s angled zipper-garage is a nice touch. The bag has internal padding which holds it’s structure well, and all webbing is stitched internally, giving the outside of the bag a clean look.
This bag has been an integral part of numerous successful trips and continues to hold up well, despite some harsh conditions and a few unfortunate dismounts.
All in all, and perhaps more noticeable than the great features and durability, is the craftsmanship of the bag. It’s obvious that Rockgeist is a company that cares about the construction quality and trail-worthiness of their products. I’m looking forward to many more years of use from this well-made frame bag.

I bought this bag earlier in the summer and never leave home without it. It works for commuting to work, running errands around town, and (obviously) touring.
The construction is solid and it fits perfectly to my frame. Off-the-shelf products are too small for my frame (61cm), and they rarely fit a normal size bike anyway. Spend the few extra dollars for something custom, it’s worth it.
Greg was super helpful and accommodating through the whole process. I live in Canada and tried to time things so the bag would ship to my parents in the US and I could save some money. When the bag wasn’t ready in time (no one’s fault, I was overly optimistic), Greg shipped it to Canada and didn’t charge anything extra for international shipping. I did get hit with a the border tax, but there is no way around that.
Here’s a pic of the bag in action: http://imgur.com/a/RrlaA

Goodbye camelbak – Hello Mudlust. This frame bag is tough, functional and looks badass. Greg was great in guiding me through the custom options for the bag. The whole process was very fast and Greg couldn’t be friendlier. My bike bag arrived in the mail shortly afterwards and ever since I’ve had it on my full suspension frame. I’ve ridden through the wettest Pisgah has to offer with this bag on my frame. It keeps the contents dry and protects them from mud and grime. I have a 1 1/2 liter hydration bladder in the bag, tools, keys and a map when I ride – with storage space left over. If you are tired of having that heavy pack dig into your shoulders all ride, get your Mudlust on and ditch the backpack. Highly recommended and a great company.

When I got my new bike last year the first thing I did was dial up Greg for a new Mudlust and as usual I was not disappointed. I had a number of custom touches built in and the thing has been bombproof. Even overstuffing it like I usually do (those tallboys take up more room than you think) it has stayed solid as a rock. Quick spray off at the end of any dirty ride and she shines like new.

I’ve used my Mudlust for about a year now. I have beaten this thing to death and it never gives up! Raced Cohutta Cat, Hurracan 300, Skyway Epic and about to race the Trans North Georgia. Wouldn’t consider anything else for my epic adventures!!
Todd Denham (verified owner) –
I’ve had the Mudlust bag for about a year now. Used it this year on the AZT and gave it a good pounding. I’ve always tended to overload bags and that trip was no exception. Despite unrealistic product expectations, it had no zipper or other issues at all. I’ve shown it to other bikepacking buddies and the comments have consistently been of quality and features. Also, people have wondered how Greg managed such high quality at such a price point, sewn with his own hands largely if not completely. I also have his version of a gas tank and feedbag which are of the same quality. You’re looking in the right place for your gear!

My Flyrock has been on my daily commuter (cross check) for two years. It’s perfect for my phone, chain lock, tube kit, gloves, ultralight rain shell, multi tool, and a burrito. The construction is flawless and it still looks brand new. Greg has made the ordering process simple and the directions are easy to follow.

Love this bag! We bought two for our bikepack trip of the Colorado Trail, and they took a beating. We had a really wet July and both were covered with mud, but open and closed without any issue. A quick hose down after and they are like new. True mudlust!

I’ve had this bag close to 3 years and it’s like brand new… minus all the mud! Seriously though, this bag is awesome, well built, and has stood up to everything I can throw at it (or in it!).
