The Stake Bag is designed to ride high on your downtube and is thin enough to take advantage of the dead space between your front tire and your frame. The Stake Bag is designed for, you guess it, tent stakes. It is also great for your repair kit; small hand pumps (pumps <7.5" long), CO2 cartages, tire levers, etc. The bag has an aggressive storm guard to protect the zipper from shred debris.

I ordered the VX25 Blaze Orange about a year ago for my Timberjack and it has taken the use and abuse perfectly. Depending on season and conditions this bag holds either my tent or hammock stakes. The size is perfect and it stays mounted to my down tube ready to use. The material is tough and the craftsmanship is perfect. I’ve done several bikepacking trips where the conditions were less than ideal and the stake bag has taken all the mud and water that has been flung at it. The most recent trip was the Revival bikepacking route. If I could post pictures here I would. I am purchasing another stake bag soon for my Sutra LTD.

Used mine for a Blackburn Co2’fer pump which is a pump wrapped around a Co2 (16g). Fit perfectly. One aspect of desert riding is that your pump needs to be protected from the dust and dirt or it will not pump. At all. This little guy was perfect and I giggled with gear nerd glee when my guess was correct and my pump fit. An awesome piece for multiple uses and fabric choices; great to fit in that often unused area directly below the headset under the downtube. Awesome idea and amazing craftmanship.
