Foxglove Saddlebag
Price range: $130.00 through $140.00
Mid-size saddlebag for moving fast and light in the mountains.
Foxgloves built with Austere Cam buckles excel at preventing webbing slippage when biking over the roughest terrain. All Ultra fabrics give exceptional durability with reduced weight.
The Foxglove is a minimalist saddlebag designed to maximize volume for its weight. This design is intended for the minimalist bikepacker, endurance racer, or anyone looking to travel efficiently through the mountains. The stable shape profile, conservative volume, and cam-action webbing ensures a solid, sway free anchor to your seat.
The Foxglove is also ideal for riders with minimal space between the rear tire and saddle (e.g., size small frames, bikes with rear racks, 29ers, or 29+ tires).

- Hypalon® rubber reinforcement

I bought this in 2020 and love it. It has held up well under all sorts of weather and bike abuse. It carries more than I would ever need for a long day ride where I am unsupported. The attachments keep it out of the way and I don’t notice it’s there. Would highly recommend.

Five Stars!
I picked up a Foxglove in the Cayenne color scheme for my shred-packing rig (Norco Torrent S2). I was looking for a sub-8L bag, and this one fits the bill perfectly.
It fits perfectly under the saddle, cinches up tightly, and doesn’t move. I run it on a dropper post and have plenty of room; that’s probably because I’m 6’6″ tall tho… still, it’s nice.
The stitching and overall fabrication quality are phenomenal- this is a really well-done piece of gear. Stitches are evenly spaced and well-done.
Finally, with the bottom stiffener removed, the bag can be rolled down to less than half its full-sized volume, which is a fantastic feature for day rides and shorter trips.
I’ve since put in my email so I can order a custom framebag once the Rockgeist Crew are accepting orders again, and I look forward to seeing the new shop space as they continue to recover from Hurricane Helene.

This is my go to seat bag for three season 1-2 night trips, especially when I want to roll fast and light. The strap placement allows me to snug the bag tight with minimum lateral sway that I’ve experienced on other seat bag brands.

This bag works perfectly on my full suspension short travel mountain bike (without a dropper post). I tried a larger 10L bag from another company, but there was not enough clearance between the rear tire. The quality and overall build of this bag is superb. As for space, I can fit my Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo tent and my Thermarest Xlite sleeping pad in the bag easily. During a 3 hour ride on rough singletrack, with some technical terrain and jumps, I did not notice any side to side movement. This bag is perfect!
Make sure to measure your tire clearance. This probably won’t work for a bike with a long travel rear shock, and it definitely won’t work for a bike with a dropper seat post.

I only received it recently, but I’ve put my FoxGlove saddlebag through its paces on some long rides mixing dirt and pavement and it has been working really well thus far. Highly recommended for a study, well-designed bag for any kind of riding (dirt or paved).
Things I like:
– Waterproof fabrics- You can easily expand or contract the size of the bag during rides (e.g. as you add or remove clothing layers).
– Sturdy and well designed.
– Lightweight for its relatively large maximum 7.5L volume.
– The main body of the bag sheds mud and dirt very well (the straps, not-so-much).- Looks fairly sleek on the bike (as much is a giant seat bag can look sleek)
– Wedge-shape at the front stays out-of-the-way and doesn’t catch your legs when pedaling.- Doesn’t sway at all during normal seated pedaling.
Mix-bag (no pun intended!):
– The bag is a bit more difficult to strap under my seat than some seat bags because the top buckle straps are really short (see photos of top of bag), but once you get the straps settled, they almost lock into place.
– The bag is very stable overall, but if it is full, and you are standing on the pedals and rocking the bike back-and-forth, you will feel it sway (that’s inevitable for a long, narrow seatbag).
– I was looking for a minimalist bag, but if you are expecting something else (e.g. extra outside pockets or places to lash things to the bag) you should make sure you understand what you are getting.
– Apparently they made the bag sturdier recently (heavier bottom panel fabric and improved roll-top functionality). The updated design weighs slightly more than what was advertised at the time of purchase. My bag weighed in at 256g after removing the optional plastic stiffener vs an expected weight closer to 200g given my choice of the lighter LiteSkin 21 fabric. It would have been nice to have the option of going with the original, lighter-weight bottom fabric, especially when choosing a lighter fabric for the main body of the bag. Or, at the very least, it would have been nice to have known the bag had changed. That said, it is still very light for a bag of this type and certainly feels like it is made to last.
Overall: This is a nicely designed product that is handcrafted by a small company in the US. They are obviously passionate about their work and have great customer service. While not inexpensive, the bag seems like a good value given the technical fabrics used, thoughtful design, and the quality of the construction.

Amazing quality product. Rarely do we get to see such beautiful stitching and attractive design.. it kinda reminds me of high end designer clothing brands like Gucci and Versace! Still havnt had a chance to test it in the real world to test its durability but pretty amazed at what i see.

After a few uses, I can comment that the Foxglove disappears under my saddle. I wanted a lighter and smaller bag for fat bike races and rides. I’ve carried a puffy jacket, a pair of socks, a tube, and a few other items with a bit of room to spare. I like the straps and the closure system for the ease off adjustment and quick closure. I’m very satisfied with the bag and glad I got it. I can’t comment on long term durability but I’m sure it will last. Oh… how could I almost forget customer service? Greg has always been helpful and the bag (already in stock) was shipped very quickly.
